Monkeylogical is a blog created for me to put down in writing all those things I want to say to people and comment on , but never do because I’m too slow-witted and by the time I’ve come up with what I want to say, its two days later and the person I was talking too has moved on 
Its also a place where I can rant about the things that are important to me which I often feel I can’t do in real life as I’m too polite and don’t like to offend people or come across as a nutter (which I am by the way, at least by the standards of normality I’ve been expected to conform to)
Why is it called Monkeylogical
Well to be honest I wanted a blog and I sat in front of the screen trying to think of a name that wasn’t taken. “Monkeylogical” returned zero hits on google so it seemed pretty unique and I went with it.
But lets pretend for a moment that I actually had a high-falutin’ reason for choosing the name. If I did it would go like this :
I once heard a phrase which I liked that went “Go with your inner monkey”. Monkeylogical to me means to apply the logic of ones inner monkey, to base your beliefs and actions and relationships on a natural way of living that stems from us basically being a bunch of monkeys. It means we should bypass the convoluted fluff of modern life and the many cultural accretions of human history, alot of which can warp and twist our viewpoints. It means that we should remember that even though we have rocketships, we’re still just monkeys with rocketships.
